This meeting is at the Salvation Army Hall, 4 Normanby St, at 7.30pm on Wednesday. There are 4 local ward candidates, and 9 candidates wanting to be Mayor. Come and hear what they have to say about why they should get your vote! See the lists of candidates below. The meeting will finish with supper, a chance for informal chats after the formal meeting.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
