Mark your diaries - we're having an "Open Meeting" on
27 February! This is your chance to come and find what Toastmasters is all about - and for members to bring interested friends.
27 February also happens to be "World NGO Day". World NGO Day is an opportunity to learn what not-for-profit organisations are doing for society around the world, the people behind them and what we can do to help. We plan to have related speakers and activities - don't miss it :)

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
