It seems very clear to me that the word 'consultation' has a different meaning for our politicians than what it does for the rest of us. I believe that our views should inform Council decisions and that all decisions should be based on fact and reason. That's why I've decided if I am elected as your representative on the Council I will not engage in any 'show-pony' consultation.
Can you tell me:
1. What genuine consultation means to you? and
2. How should our Council consult so as to better reflect our diverse opinions and views?
I would love to know your views!
