Twilight Community Bowls - Johnsonville Bowling Club
The Johnsonville Bowling Club’s highly popular Twilight Community Bowls is back again soon. This is a social summer league competition held every Tuesday for 8 weeks beginning the 12th January 2021. It is open to anyone and everyone. So, talk to your mates, colleagues, family etc and make up a team of four. The cost is $30 per team ($7.50 per player) each week and for that you get 2 games of bowls and a free burger. The bar will also be open, and there will be raffles and lucky team prizes.
Games commence at 6.00 pm each Tuesday and all bowls and equipment are supplied. Just bring along your flat soled shoes. There is more info on our website, www.jbcbowls.org.nz....

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
