Based in Newlands, we are your local hockey club for children in years 3 to 8. Players of all skill levels welcome!

Key dates:
Pre-season training: 5-7 pm Mondays from 20th Feb

Years 7 & 8 (11-a-side) trials: 5th and 12th March, 2-5 pm

Official season starts in May

Plus: Have a Go Hockey: $15 for 3 fun, no-obligation sessions for begginners in school years 3-8.
5-6 pm, 20th Feb, 27th Feb and 6th March, Newlands.

Age Concern Upcoming Staying Safe Driver Refresher Courses

Staying Safe is a classroom-based refresher workshop for senior road users. Age Concern runs these workshops in partnership with Waka Kotahi (NZTA).

The workshop aims to maintain and improve safe driving practices and increase the knowledge of other transport options available to help senior road users remain safely mobile.

The free interactive workshop runs for around 4 hours, with morning tea and a light lunch provided. Spaces at each workshop are limited so please register using the form on our website.
