Babysitter/Childcare - Available

Georgina from Mount Victoria

Hi all,

My name is Georgina and I’m a 32 year old Nursing Student in my first year of Nursing School. I am looking for any casual work at the moment during my study semester, particularly in the field of babysitting or casual weekend childcare. I adore children and hope to potentially work to one day help children in a role within a related Healthcare service.

If anyone is looking for an on-call babysitter with years of experience, fully first aid qualified, and can provide a reference or references, please don’t hesitate to email or phone me for a chat. I am looking to be either a regular babysitter for a family or anyone else who needs someone to call last minute for a babysitter.

My email is georgina.ruben@outlook.co.nz and I will provide my mobile by email to any inquiries.

Thank you
Georgie

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

Michael from Newtown

Merry Christmas -

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Best wishes - Michael
