Host families urgently needed for German boys arriving late January

We are urgently seeking host families for German/Austrian boys arriving for a term one start. The boys are aged 16 and will be here for one and two terms.
We are looking for homestay families who are inclusive, caring, supportive and willing to share their home and Kiwi life with a student. Visiting students want to experience day to day life with a New Zealand family and to feel a part of the family.
The 2024 homestay fee is $340 per week.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
