Scanning 35 mil negatives

Paul from Mount Victoria

Hi, I am a 10 year old boy, (posting on my fathers account) I have recently been helping my Father scan some of his photo negatives. This is basically creating digital images (jpeg) from photo negatives ( don't worry you will still get your negatives back!) . He has an Epson V750 Pro scanner, which creates really nice images. I can show you some examples if you like.

So does anyone have any negatives for me to scan? I would charge $1.50 for a film with 24 images in it, or $2.00 for a film with 36 images in it. I am very responsible, but if I do mess something up, you will get 100% money back on that film.
This is a very good deal, I am charging $1.50 for a 24 image film, commercial companies are charging the same price for a simple image. Which adds up to $38.40 for what I am charging $1.50. See for yourself here: www.convertit.co.nz...

I would deliver the images to you either on Dropbox (no extra charge), or I could drop a USB stick to you for an extra $15. Or you could provide a USB stick for no extra charge.

Thanks, Alex!

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Wellington’s identity is built on its cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.

We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?

Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.
