Perfect outing for Father's Day - a short drive gets you to Martinborough where there are free pop-up Jazz shows on as part of Jazz in Martinborough Spring Celebration (Sept 2,3 &4) - gigs are at Palliser Estate, Union Square, Karahui Wine Bar & Eatery and Martinborough Brewery. Add in a few cellar door visits, lunch in a vineyard, a beer at Martinborough Brewery - - that's a good day for Dad!

Combining biking with bus travel

Anyone out there who, like me, would love to bike more, but have difficulty getting their bike on the rack on the bus ? It's sometimes necessary, so as to avoid steep hills and roads where I don't feel safe.
Metlink say their drivers aren't meant to help.
