Forecast: Severe northwest gales have eased, however, northerlies remain strong and could approach severe gale for a time in exposed places until evening.
November 8: Severe northwesterly gales gusting to 130 km/h in exposed places were forecast for Wellington and the Wairarapa until 11pm tonight.

Stop 5516 (Stop C) needs to be closed Thursday 8 November 9am-4pm and Stop 5000 (Stop A) will need to be closed Friday 9 November 9am-4pm for excavation works.
