Delivery drivers pick up the meals from the Brooklyn Community Centre in Harrison Street from approximately 11:15am … View moreMeals on Wheels is a valuable community service made possible thanks to a team of volunteers who deliver food during weekdays to seniors and the housebound throughout wider Brooklyn. Delivery drivers pick up the meals from the Brooklyn Community Centre in Harrison Street from approximately 11:15am - 11:30am and then go out on their run which takes around an hour and a half. If you are able to help either weekly, fortnightly or monthly to deliver meals or would like to know more, please contact Sue the Brooklyn volunteer Meals on Wheels coordinator on 021 620 599 or email: sue@mcglashan.co.nz
