Plumbing recommendation.
Hi there neighbours,
I am helping a disabled person who had a plumber change washers and one (the hot water) in the bathroom sink was not fixed and continued to drip heavily. I´ve asked the plumber to come back to tell us what the problem is, and the plumber has been giving me all sorts of excuses to not return to help attend and fix the problem and then hanged up on me. Citizen´s Advice bureau also called the plumber and got all sorts of excuses not to return and fix the problem under the Consumer´s guarantee. The CAB person who called was also hanged up... and the plumber clearly refuses to service a disabled person, so that he can get hot water... We´ve been now waiting for over 3 months, to get the plumber to return, he has ignored phone calls and emails.
I´m wonder if anyone would know of a good helpful plumber, who could be helping -- tap washer is new, so we need to know why tap is leaking again... Plumber gives all sorts of excuses, but no explanation, as he hasn´t returned to see the situation.
Any good referral from local plumber who can be sympathetic to the situation, and help, are most welcome, as well as experiences... in fact a good person able to back up their work, is truly ideal.
Thanks a lot in advance neighbours.
(Tap is methven).
