- Always take your lifejacket.
- Tell someone when you’ll be back.
- Don’t drive when you are tired.
And remember if you stray too far, the Choppers can help. In the last 12 months, Wellington’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew 415 missions keeping Kiwis safe.

A national day of plastic protest has been organised, encouraging shoppers to unwrap and leave unnecessary plastic packaging behind at supermarkets.
