The Northern Chorale's last concert for 2023

" Stars for Christmas" - a delightful selection of songs about Stars. Come along on Sunday November 19 at 2.30 pm to join us at the Khandallah Town Hall. Tickets are available at the door - $20 for adults, $10 for students. School children are free. Afternoon tea will be served after the concert. Do come!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
