After a disheartening response, at Otari Wilton Bush, from a dog owner who laughed at me and told me 'you'll survive' after her dog jumped up at me and vehemently pushed its nose right up my crotch, I would like to remind dog owners that dogs should be kept on leads at Otari Wilton Bush and the Skyline Walkway.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
