Accountant Needed, in return for exchange of Service

Remy from Brooklyn

Hello Hello !

I'm in a bit of a situation and thought to try my luck here !

I started a business last year, we are steady but very much still growing. With a reduction to zero work during Covid lockdown and a few other set-backs we are having to cut costs as much as possible. The Business Tax Return is due in a few weeks and I really need the expertise of an accountant to file the return, there are some expenses that need to be included to claim and after much research I am still confused and unsure. Accounts are tidy and allocated into Xero.

I have approached a few accountants, and very much planned to use their services, though for this immediate tax return we just cannot take on the cost. My beautiful partner is a web developer and has kindly offered a website to help with my needs, another option is an exchange of services that I can offer (I have a few). If you are or know of an accountant (preferably chartered) who is interested in an exchange of services please send me a message to organise a conversation.

Hope everyone is recovering ok, it's not easy,

Thank you.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)
