TREASURER NEEDED - help make Karori a great place to live
Karori Community Centre needs someone with accounting skills to join our lively Board as a volunteer treasurer (5 hrs/month). Staff & volunteers manage the day to day financial processes so the role involves overseeing finances, producing monthly & end of year statements &reports &advising on the financial position.
If you have some spare time to put into supporting our community – we'd love to hear from you. This would suit an accountant with enthusiasm, knowledge of Xero an advantage. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

How to block interference from an irrelevant poster?
Can anyone give advice on how to do this? I have already reported the interference to the neighbourly team.
