FANTASTIC PART TIME JOB MAKING KARORI A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative leader who shares Karori Community Centre’s vision to make Karori a great place to live. This new position requires someone with experience to manage a small team of part-time staff, and who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to make things happen. Reporting to the Chair and Management Committee of KCC, the manager will oversee the day to day operations as well as develop the services KCC offers.
The successful applicant will have
• Sound leadership, financial and business experience
• Track record of developing business ideally in a room hire/event environment
• Great communication and networking skills
Experience in community development is an advantage.
This new role is for a fixed term of 18 months starting as soon as possible. It is for 25 hours per week, hours will be flexible as agreed (usually Monday to Friday between 9 am – 6 pm but include occasional evening or weekend work as required). A competitive rate of pay is offered.
