Hi neighbours – small ones, big ones, fluffy ones, we have them all at New Zealand's premier event, the Black Hawk National Dog Show. Fun for all at 11 Prosser Street, Porirua from Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th October.

There will be over 130 different breeds competing for the coveted title of Best in Show, a full obedience show, the very popular Dancing with dogs, junior dog handling and many other four-legged events and demonstrations to entertain the whole family.

Come along to our national extravaganza and watch some of New Zealand's top dogs strut their stuff.

Wellington Hospital bus hub construction beginning week of 24 September until early November

During the construction period, there will be:
- Restricted pedestrian access to the front steps (barriers will be up and access will be maintained to the front entrance)
- Carparks on the eastern side will be removed (alternative parking will be available in the hospital underground carpark)
- Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane

For the duration of the works Metlink services will continue to operate out temporary stops south of the main entrance and clearly signposted.

This is an opportunity for our Karori seniors and juniors to spend time together enjoying lunch, music and fun activities.

Everyone is welcome to join us and bring along a grandchild or special child in your life. Or come on your own and celebrate with us.
