But did you know we are starting a similar service in the northern … View moreYou probably already know that we have an outreach service at Strathmore Ave Community Centre, on the 1st Monday of the month from 10 -11.30am and Ruakawa St Community Centre, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10-11.30am.
But did you know we are starting a similar service in the northern suburbs? Each week we will be at either the Tawa Community Centre or the Linden Social Centre from 10-12noon.

As a mostly volunteer led organisation, our members know first hand the value and impact that a single volunteer can make in our communities. Imagine then how much can be achieved when several volunteers or even an entire street or neighbourhood decide to work together to achieve the same goal!
Whether you plan to coordinate your own volunteer driven activity, take part in one that’s already been setup, participate in National Volunteer Week (16-22 June), or simply show your own volunteers some extra love this month, know that every bit of effort to give back is a priceless investment in all of our futures.
