St Hilda's Playgroup and the SPACE course -
The playgroup will be open on Friday this week for the last time. Next term the toys, snacks and place to meet other caregivers will be open as usual on Tuesdays but we will not be running the Friday sessions. Instead we are starting the SPACE course at St Hildas on Wednesdays (see notice below on Neighbourly).
The playgroup will not be open during the school holidays.
We are sorry for everyone who will be inconvenienced, but we do not want to clash with the music programme for little ones in the Bay.
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
