Free: ASKO washing machine - needs repairs but a great machine
My ASKO washing machine (front loader) flooded this morning. It needs either a new valve or a new circuit / computer board. The service folks were going to take it on Tuesday. It was a top of the range machine when I bought it. Washes really well. I was going to get it repaired but discovered that I could get the new machine I had ordered as part of my kitchen renovation earlier than anticipated (was supposed to be delivered in May due to COVID, my kitchen designer pulled some strings so I can get the new machine next week). If anyone wants it either because they are handy and can fix it, or wants the parts - you are welcome to come and get it this weekend. The only condition is I'm short and you will need to carry it. And not bash my walls!

RATES ASSESSMENT
Hi Neighours
By now, you must have received notice of Rates Valuation from the City Council.
Any real estate agent will tell you that at the moment, most properties in Wellington are selling 25-30% below
council valuation.
Though the letter says, rating valuation is NOT for the purpose of Rates adjustment, we know well that it will follow.
Is it fair to assume that QV which stands to gain a good income from the desk-top valuation, will not disappoint their patron?
Is there a Rate Payers Association in Wellington ?
Loki: lost 3 leg cat from Te Wharepōuri Street
Loki is up to his old tricks and has gone awol again. The last time was around 2.5 years ago when he was found inside a wall cavity in the Satan Slaves compound. He is an 8 year old lilac Burmese. This means he’s a kind of beige colour. With amber eyes. He’s missing his right front leg.
He’s likely to be shut in a shed or under a house in either Te Wharepouri street, Luxford or until between Luxford and te Whareouri St.
If you can take a look in any shut sheds, outside laundries or under houses cavities. Any 3 leg cat who can make his way into a roof cavity and then down into a wall can get stuck anywhere.
