We will be carrying out urgent repairs to the water supply network on Johnston Street and Featherston Street from 10am until 2pm on Monday 6 April.

We recommend affected properties fill up containers with water before 10am and avoid running your dishwasher and washing machine during this time.

When the water supply is turned back on, it’s a good idea to open a cold tap slowly then let it run for a minute or so to clear any air bubbles that may have entered the system. Air can cause the water to turn a milky colour, but this won’t affect the taste, and should clear quickly.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this outage and will update you if any of the above should change.

During the heightened response to Covid-19, we are still progressing with critical projects. Some of the work involved in these projects may include a short interruption to your water supply.

Usually we let our customers know about this with a letter a couple of days beforehand. But, to ensure the safety of our community and frontline essential staff, letter drops have stopped.

We’ll continue to do our absolute best to inform you about planned service interruptions using other methods such as:
• Loud speakers
• Signs up in the street
• Social media
• Website updates

Of course, during service failures like bursts the water can be interrupted without warning. In times like these we will respond by having water available on site and letting you know about it via social media.

Council contact centres are will have this information too – so please give them a call in the first instance.

We’re super excited 🥳 to finally offer you our first live streamed painting class.🤩🥂 We’ve been working ferociously behind the scenes to launch new creative ways we can serve you online.

Our virtual paint parties are just the first of many exciting new things to come. We’re super thrilled we can paint with you all again, safely in the comfort of your own homes!
All the details and tickets here snip.ly...

Art is the perfect stress buster. We know how good art is for our mental health and well-being, especially during difficult times. While you paint, your mind gets a much needed break from the worrying thoughts and stresses you may be feeling. Our mission has always been to share the benefits of art. So now, with all the extra worries that come with this virus we want to do our best to keep providing you with creative healing and happiness.

As an event based business, we’re really grateful for your continued support during this crazy time. Your support will help us get through this and hopefully help our business survive.

Keep physically and mentally healthy everyone.
We look forward to painting with you again soon. 😍

Regards and blessings

Kakariki flying in Miramar!

Fran from Miramar

I don’t know if people have seen more wildlife lately, but I’m pretty sure what looked like five kakariki just flew over my head in Miramar and landed high on a tree. They could have been Eastern rosellas hard to tell, but I have never seen flocks of parrots in Miramar flat near the airport!
