Update on library services under Alert Level 2

Fiona from Wellington City Libraries and Community Spaces

Things will be a little different under Alert Level 2, but we’re pleased to welcome you back to most of our libraries with reduced hours from 10am Thursday 9 September 2021. He Matapihi Library will follow on Monday 13 September.

To keep you and our teams safe we’ll be asking people to sign in, wear a mask and follow physical distancing. Find out more about how we’re keeping everyone safe here: wcl.govt.nz...
Don’t worry about rushing to return any items on loan – we’ve extended the due date for all items until at least 28 September 2021.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
