The Ukrainian community and our supporters invite you to come and eat some delicious desserts and other baked goods AND help us support the people of Ukraine at the same time! A rag-tag team of bakers are coming to the famous Wellington Harbourside Sunday market this weekend!
We are selling a wide range of lovingly home-baked desserts and other delicious baked goods. All proceeds will go to humanitarian aid and medical support for the children and adults of Ukraine affected by the war (Ohmatdyt - ohmatdyt.com.ua... and Razom for Ukraine (razom means together in Ukrainian) - razomforukraine.org...).
We will be at the market from 8 am till 2 pm - Just look for the blue and yellow flags to find our stall.
The weather forecast for Sunday so far is looking good!
Please bring cash!
We thank Wellington City Council for it's kind support for this event.

One of the wheel tyres is missing (& the others are degrading) and part of the bonnet needs reattaching to the body of the pram. See pics.
A good project if you’re interested in this type of work as it’s a lovely pram once usable again.
620 long
350 wide
750 high - to top of handle.
Free.
Pick up Khandallah, Wellington.
Cheers
Edit to add- have now found the missing tyre . See pic.

"Last summer we had a mallard couple that regularly visited us. They would waddle up the drive way, the female in the lead, and come around the back to the kitchen door to see if we had any rice or other tasty bits. I often wonder what happened to them, and how they negotiated the roads, and wondered how word got around in the first place that we might be the local soup kitchen. I was going to get a paddling pool for them, but they didn't turn up this summer. Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) male at Days Bay duck pond. Bird #68 in 2022.."
