Does anyone know what's happening at the park with the mountains of sand courtesy of Hammond Spreading, Wairarapa? Apart from the fact they have completely obliterated the 2 disabled car parks this also poses a serious H&S risk especially to young children and dogs as they are at risk of being buried and suffocating in the sand! The WCC does not appear to know nor are they interested - they've got their rates increases off the able bodied and disabled members of the community so it's not their problem!

Have you ever wanted to try Kintsugi.... It's an ancient Japanese art form where you fix broken pottery with gold - making its imperfections its beauty. A truly wonderful philosophy to live by. To learn the magical art of Kintsugi with Artist Ema Frost please go to: tinyurl.com...
You can bring along a piece of your own pottery to restore in this beautiful style. (Ema will also have a few as back up if you don't have your own piece) (All Levels)

World Mental Health Day is dedicated to promoting the understanding of mental health education, awareness, and advocacy. It's important to raise awareness of mental health conditions and ensure that communities recognise the part each person has to play in creating a mentally healthy society. World Mental Health Day is a great opportunity to do this.
