Do You Need A Virtual Assistant??
Are you a trade-based business owner?
Are you hunched over the kitchen table doing all your paperwork at night and in the weekends?
Or, are you the partner of a trade-based business owner, and you're hunched over the kitchen table doing all their paperwork at night and in the weekends?
Have you considered hiring a Virtual Assistant to take care of your office admin and bookkeeping?
Do you know that hiring a Virtual Assistant is way cheaper than employing another staff member??
I’m a Certified Bookkeeper and Xero advisor, well versed in general office admin, lover of creating and following processes, payroll, paperless offices and possibly slightly OCD about numbers.
I’ve been around trades-based businesses for 20+ years, as an owner and/or office manager, so I know what’s involved in running a trades-based business (and I’m used to bad language and politically incorrect jokes!).
I assist trade-based business owners just like you focus in and on their business - knowing their bookkeeping, payroll and office administration tasks are safe, correct and up-to-date with me.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
