Karori Cemetery Tours - Queen's Birthday Weekend

The Friends of Karori Cemetery are offering four tours over Queen's Birthday weekend:
- Sunday 6th June 10:30am Murder and Mayhem
- Sunday 6th June 1.30pm Off the Beaten Track
- Monday 7th June 10:30am First Catholics
- Monday 7th June 1.30pm Movers and Shakers 2

Each tour is 1.5 hours duration, easy walking, good dogs on leads are welcome. $10 per person (under 12-year olds free).
Tours are weather dependent – information about meeting place, cancellation arrangements etc. will be sent on booking.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
