Karori Community Book Fair Coming Up Soon

Allan Frazer from Rotary Karori

Karori Rotary and Karori Lions have combined again to run our local Community Book Fair, to be held at the Karori Baptist Church on Friday 14 July ( public holiday for Matariki) from noon to 8pm and again on Saturday 15 July, from 9am to 4pm.
There are lots of books for the taking. The organisers are keen to get some more children’s books from beginners to 8-9 years. If you can donate children’s books please contact Beth Anders, Karori Lions on 021 264 1481 to arrange pick up.
Business houses in Karori have provided some prizes for purchases of books over $25. Go in the draw for a number of prizes.

For further enquiries and if you can help as a volunteer at the Book Fair please contact David Watt, Karori Rotary, 027 2466 339, or Beth Anders, Karori Lions, 021 264 1481.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
