We couldn't face the alternative of letting him go, especially after losing his 2nd half, Toffee in a traffic accident a couple of years back. Our crews have been responding to a water main burst on Thurleigh Grove in Karori, affecting part of Thurleigh Grove, St Albans Avenue, Williamson Way, Swadel Way, Allington Road, Epsom Way and Castlemaine Close.

At approximately 9.00pm, water will be shut off for our crews to work on the … View moreOur crews have been responding to a water main burst on Thurleigh Grove in Karori, affecting part of Thurleigh Grove, St Albans Avenue, Williamson Way, Swadel Way, Allington Road, Epsom Way and Castlemaine Close.

At approximately 9.00pm, water will be shut off for our crews to work on the repair. Water is projected to be back up and running by 12am. In the meantime, we have arranged temporary water supply with bottled water available outside 27 Thurleigh Grove, and a water tanker with a flashing beacon will also make its way around the affected streets for residents to fill up water.

We will continue to provide updates, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Water was turned on to the affected areas, to ensure residents have had access to water until 8.30pm.

At approximately 8.30pm, water will be shut off for our crews to work on the repair. Water will be back on as soon as possible. In the meantime, we have arranged temporary water supply with bottled water available outside 27 Thurleigh Grove, and a water tanker will also make its way around the affected streets for residents to fill up water.

We will continue to provide updates, including an estimated time for the water to be back up and running.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
