PLEASE CHECK SHEDS AND UNDER HOUSES.

Kirsty from Thorndon

URGENT - THORNDON - PLEASE SHARE WITH LOCALS And PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHED / GARAGE / UNDER HOUSE - SHE MAY CURLED UP IN A CORNER. ::Our cat Biscuit went missing (Thursday 3 May) after accidentally being locked out of the house in Upton Tce (next to Premier House, Tinakori Rd). She is very timid and does not go outside much. We think she may be lost and would greatly appreciate it if you could keep an eye and ear out for her. She is 17 years old, a tortoise shell type colouring, medium length fur. IF YOU SPOT HER PLEASE CALL / TEXT KIRSTY on 021 447 012 and I will come and try and coax her out. If you have a shed or garage that may be shut it would be great if you could check in them. We have had her for her 17+ years and are desperate to reunite her with us and her pug mate Dot who is sitting by the door waiting for her. Please share this with your neighbours. Greatly appreciate you reading this. Kirsty and Dot

Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Wellington’s identity is built on its cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.

We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?

Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
