Here is a small selection of the roles we have listed under ‘Practical Help’ on our website. Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community, meet new people and have fun!

✅ Shift Supervisor (ID# 8850) - The Free Store is looking for a shift supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of specific spaces, including the kitchen/dishes, trolley collections, and container sorting/hand-out areas.
✅ Sales Assistant (ID# 8841) - Vinnies in Brooklyn is looking for a senior sales assistant to support the manager and assistant manager.
✅ Market Bookings Manager (ID# 8851) - Hataitai Community House are looking for a reliable and organized Market Bookings Manager for their quarterly market in Wellington.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
