Would you like to join in the Festival yard sales day but don't have the street front? There's a big car boot sale happening at the church car park, 88 The Parade, that has some space, plus tables!
Contact Poneke Ngeru Rescue (organisers) on admin@ponekengerurescue.org and they'll bring you on board! 10-2pm sales plus kitten cuddles inside, followed by cat adoptions at 2pm.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
