ANZAC service (midday) for residents of the southern suburbs and beyond
Commemorate ANZAC Day at Island Bay School on 25th April. You can also join the procession to the venue, at 12.15pm from St Hilda's. This parade is usually attended by local Scout, Guides & Rangers and Girls Brigade.
We are sometimes fortunate to have the presence of riders and horses of the Wellington City Light Horse Club. Cross fingers!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
