Time for Good News

Clive from Island Bay

Despite the current troubles, Christmas remains a time to celebrate. We will be doing it in style at St Hilda's church on Sunday at 10.00am when we tell the Christmas story from the perspective of a detective mouse! Yes we are doing our "Pop up Nativity" - fun for all with audience participation. Come dressed as a shepherd, a sheep, a kangaroo, or whatever onesy you may have! As always at St Hilda's there will be food and drinks afterwards in the hall.
We are a very Kid's friendly place so bring the family!
St Hilda's - a place to belong......!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
