About The Course:
Meditation is a way of calming the mind and developing a positive approach to life. It is easy to do and everyone can learn. Through calming the mind in meditation, we can control our feelings and emotions, gain inner strength, sleep better and start to truly relax.

In this three week series learn how to meditate and discover for yourself the inner peace and happiness that naturally arises when your mind becomes still. You will learn the basics of meditation and be given advice on how to improve and sustain your meditation practice. You will also be guided through some simple meditations which you can then practice at home.

Tuesday 7 – 8.15pm, November 3, 10 & 17

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
