Leave your car at home and use your feet
Next Tuesday is World Car Free Day and the council is encouraging Wellingtonians to leave their car at home.
Local schools will also be encouraging students to walk, cycle or scooter.
Workers will be encouraged take a bus or a train, or even walk, rather than their car. Have your ever thought what your neighborhood would be like if there were fewer cars?

Hi Neighours
By now, you must have received notice of Rates Valuation from the City Council.
Any real estate agent will tell you that at the moment, most properties in Wellington are selling 25-30% below
council valuation.
Though the letter says, rating valuation is NOT for the purpose of Rates adjustment, we know well that it will follow.
Is it fair to assume that QV which stands to gain a good income from the desk-top valuation, will not disappoint their patron?
Is there a Rate Payers Association in Wellington ?
