Have you ever been really hungry?

Sisters of Compassion

The Compassion Soup Kitchen has been feeding hungry Wellingtonians since 1901.

At the moment, the demand is greater than it has been for a very long time. People are suddenly finding themselves unable to make ends meet, facing job losses and reduced hours. On average, we’re serving 150 meals, six days a week, to both new and familiar faces.

RATES ASSESSMENT

Thomas from Kilbirnie

Hi Neighours
By now, you must have received notice of Rates Valuation from the City Council.
Any real estate agent will tell you that at the moment, most properties in Wellington are selling 25-30% below

council valuation.
Though the letter says, rating valuation is NOT for the purpose of Rates adjustment, we know well that it will follow.
Is it fair to assume that QV which stands to gain a good income from the desk-top valuation, will not disappoint their patron?
Is there a Rate Payers Association in Wellington ?
