Insulation legislation
As a landlord, you should be doing everything in your power to adhere to the insulation legislation. This needs to be done before July 2019. Through the Warm Up New Zealand: Healthy Homes Programme, grants of 50% of the cost of insulation are now available for low-income home owners and landlords with low-income tenants, who hold a community services card. Check your eligibility at the Energywise website.
