Volunteers needed!
Would you like to help make a difference in your neighbourhood? Te Omanga Hospice are seeking volunteers for the following roles:
🏠Hospice Shop Volunteers: we're looking for friendly people with a passion for retail and desire to assist others. Wainuiomata shop Mon/Tues/Fri afternoons/Saturdays. Petone shop morning/afternoon on Sat/Sun. Lower Hutt shop Tues/Thurs/Fri morning or Wed afternoon.
đźšš Truck Hand: we're looking for fit and able people to help our Truck Drivers collect generous donations for our Hospice Shops.
🧹 Housekeepers: join our friendly team keeping our hospice clean and tidy for patients and families. Mon/Tues 9am – 11am. Casual housekeepers are also needed.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
