This Black and Decker dustbuster vacuum cleaner is in reasonable condition apart from fading from the sun and scuffing through normal use. The battery has worn out but it gets any necessary small jobs done.

This bottle is well used with areas of surface rust which have been treated with rust converter. Not sure how much gas is left (if any).

Can anyone identify this bird please? Blackbird size. has a dark brown tuft at rear of head which it ruffles up. black eyes merge to black straight beak, Has a chirrupy sound. Seen in Maungaraki, NOT a thrush.

If the rain doesn’t come next week we may be in trouble so, If we don’t continue to act, the restriction level will have to increase.

👉 Only use hand held watering devices outdoors on alternate days between 6-8am, and 7-9pm
👉 Don’t use sprinklers, irrigation systems or unattended hoses until further notice.
Alternate days: even numbered properties on even numbered dates and odd numbered properties on odd numbered dates.

As part of our new waste bylaw, yellow rubbish bags cannot contain more than 10% green waste.
But don’t worry! When you bring your green waste to the Southern Landfill it will be turned into Capital Compost – and it only costs $5 to dispose of up to 85kg!
