Art and Writing Workshops for kids!
Author Maria Gill and I are running writing and illustration workshops at Scots College in the 1st week of the school holidays. We are both well published and award winning children's book authors (and I'm an illustrator too). These workshops suit ages 7-13 with a junior day on the 1st October, followed by 3 day workshops. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
