EASTBOURNE - WATER OUTAGE

Wellington Water from Wellington Water

UPDATE 1 - 4:17PM, 28 SEPT

The team are making good progress with the repair and expect full service to be restored early this evening.

We'll keep this post updated with the latest info.

---------------------------------

Our crews have responded to a burst pipe on Marine Drive, this afternoon.

This is affecting Marine Drive from #624 towards and including Eastbourne township. We have had to turn the water off in this area to repair the burst pipe. We expect service to be interrupted for 4-5 hours (6 - 7 pm)

Our crews are working to repair the pipe as quickly as possible. We appreciate the disruption this has caused, and thank you for your patience.

We'll keep this post updated with the latest info.

Decks decks Ashton building

WORK WANTED 🙋‍♂️. Anytime is a good time to have your decks and structures checked for deteriorating timbers and fixings . Rot and rust don't just fix itself. Those areas that don't seem as stable or solid as they did , should be checked , heavy mould builds up and traps moisture damaging timber .Handrails that have movement when leaned against can be a sign of fixings failing.
