Honey Bees are part of a group of pollinators without which we would have no fruit or vegetables.
Contrary to some media stories, the honey bee is not endangered in New Zealand but our native bees are.
These are solitary insects that usually live in burrows and produce no honey. They also are pollinators and suited our native plant species. Their habitat is threatened as they cannot be shifted around and managed like the honey bee.

"Remi has been a ball of crazy adorable energy since the start. Meaning she fits right in with our big family and is always happy to meet new people. She continually find ways to get up to mischief but she's so cute it's impossible to get mad at her. She has adjusted really well to living with three cats and six chickens (although the cats were very unimpressed at first). Our entire family has fallen in love with her and can't wait to see what crazy adventures she gets up to next."
