The Team from Neighbourhood Support New Zealand
We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the 18,000+ 'busy bees' (volunteers) who help run Neighbourhood Support in our communities across the country. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without your generous support.

A fat blockage in the pipes along Brandon St was sending wastewater into the stormwater line via a constructed overflow. This was located and cleared on June 12.
Investigations also found wastewater joints that had come apart under Queens Wharf, which were attended to by June 15.
If washed down the sink, fats and oils can build up in our pipes causing blockages. Itβs best to wait for fats and oils to cool then wipe them into the bin.
