Personal Cook - Expressions of Interest

Olivia from Northland

Hi all,

I am looking for expressions of interest for a business I am hoping to begin later in the year.

I am a passionate cook with a strong interest in human nutrition who is looking to move into making a living in what I love - cooking! I have had some interest in a service I am looking to start providing which is to provide families with their weekly meals and shopping so that they can ensure they have delicious, nutritious and economical meals for their families without the tax on their time cooking and shopping. This allows you the peace of mind to know everything is taken care of without any stress to you.

What I will provide:

I will provide my services for approximately 10 hours a week per client.

I will plan your meals for the week - with adherence to your personal tastes and requirements and then do your grocery shopping for the week, this can include any other personal items you require - you can leave me a list of what you need from the supermarket and I will also collect these when I am doing the food shop, saving you a trip! The groceries will be expensed back to you; I will ensure that the recipes made utilise seasonal ingredients which will ensure that these costs are as economical as possible.

Following the shopping I will come back to your home and prepare all of your meals for the week. These will be balanced meals to feed your whole family, and there will also be supplementary baking for the week included with the meals and if required any breakfast or lunch foods can be included as add-ons to the base offering of dinners and baking.

I will bring with me any kitchen items needed for the meals that you do not have at your home and will ensure your kitchen is left sparkling clean after I have finished cooking these meals for you.

There will be a one-off charge for containers in which the food will be stored each week. I will ensure that these containers are robust enough for regular household use and environmentally sustainable so that we can play a part in reducing our ecological footprint.

Initially I will offer a free consultation so that we can have a chat about your needs and requirements. If you have any dietary requirements please be assured that I can and will cater to you. I have Coeliac Disease so understand the importance of cooking for individual's dietary requirements and have a particular interest in catering for all types of diets.

Obviously, this is very early days, and I am yet to establish a fee - I would just like to make contact with those who may be interested in the service before I construct the cost break down.

If this sounds like something you or someone you know would be interested in - please get in contact and we can discuss this in more detail.

Thanks so much,

Olivia
