Seeking Donations of Plants
UPDATE 26 JUNE - Postponing the drop off until next Friday 4th July in hope of better weather. If your plants can't wait, please leave them in front of the Shelter and we'll pick them up over the weekend.
Hello everyone 🌷 We are seeking donations of the following plants for a project that we are just starting at Karori Cemetery. Are any of these spare in your garden, or could you divide a plant to donate part to us?
We'll be at the Shelter in the cemetery to receive donations on Friday 27th June 9am - 12pm. 🌼

Groundcovers:
Ajuga, Phlomis, Pratia, Violet
Herbaceous:
Aster, Euphorbia, Geranium (cranesbill and native), Hellebore, Heuchera, Myosotidium, Omphaloides, Parahebe, Sedum

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
