Pen pal project
Hi, shout out to only-child daughters. My 11 year old girl is an only-child and living in Karori. we are embarking on a project to connect with and network with other similar kids. Her specific idea is to create some “pen pals” as part of a research project she is undertaking. Please message me if you are interested and for more info.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
