Meet the Rongotai Electorate Candidates, Thursday 24th September
Have you decided who to vote for? Come to our meeting at St Anne’s Hall, Emmett St, Newtown to hear from the candidates. The doors open at 7.00pm, and the meeting will start promptly at 7.30pm.
The meeting will be chaired jointly by Newtown Residents Patrick Morgan and Yadana Saw. It will be live streamed on Facebook.
The candidates will talk briefly about why you should vote for them, followed by questions from the floor.
The formal presentations, questions and answers will be followed by supper and time for informal conversation – we hope to see you there!

Combining biking with bus travel
Hi neighbours
Anyone out there who, like me, would love to bike more, but have difficulty getting their bike on the rack on the bus ? It's sometimes necessary, so as to avoid steep hills and roads where I don't feel safe.
Metlink say their drivers aren't meant to help.
