Due to urgent pipe repairs, water has been shut off to Customhouse Quay, Waterloo Quay, Featherston Street, and parts of Waring Taylor, Johnston, Brandon, and Panama Streets.

In order to undertake the repair, two northbound lanes have been shut on Customhouse Quay.

Crews are working to repair the pipe as soon as possible, and the issue is expected to be resolved late this afternoon.

Until then, to reduce traffic congestion, please avoid Customhouse Quay and the surrounding area.

Water Tankers are parked on Hunter Street, Lady Elizabeth Lane and Waring Taylor Street – please bring your own containers.
